About Us
The Military Wives Choir Windsor began its journey in January 2013 with just a few ladies getting together to see if a choir would be a fun and enjoyable way of getting to know other military wives and girlfriends. Just a few weeks later in February it became part of the Military Wives Choir Foundation and has grown in numbers and confidence since.
At Present the choir consists of around 20 ladies all coming together once a week to make friends and enjoy their shared passion for singing. The ladies have the privilege of being accompanied by Emma Wright and being musically directed by Richard Stringfellow, both members of the Blues and Royals Band.
It has gone from strength to strength from its formation and is due to celebrate its 3rd birthday as part of the Military Wives Choirs Foundation.
The choir performs at a number of events both small and large throughout the year, details of which can be found on our performances page.
Despite performing at a number of high profile events in recent years, it is primarily a support network for women in the local military community and strives to bring women together through a love of music.
